About the role

The Spartan Graduate Trainee Programme is a paid, 12‑month development track for recent graduates and early‑career professionals (0‑3 years experience). Trainees work on live business projects across functions such as Engineering, Product, AI Operations, Commercials, Health Operations, Finance, and People Operations, gaining hands‑on experience while contributing to Curacel’s AI‑driven insurance and financial‑service solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑impact projects within an assigned team, taking ownership of workstreams and aligning results with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and launch products, services, and process improvements.
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Use Curacel’s tools and processes to analyse data, generate actionable insights, and support decision‑making.
• Participate in Curacel’s structured AI learning programme, applying AI tools responsibly to real‑world problems.
• Share AI experiments and use‑cases with peers while adhering to data‑security and responsible‑use standards.
• Attend regular training sessions, mentorship meetings, and performance reviews.
• Complete and present a capstone project demonstrating measurable business impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) from an accredited institution; engineering degree preferred for AI Ops placements.
• 0–3 years of professional experience, including internships, volunteer work, or freelance projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with evidence of tackling challenging problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in distributed, multicultural teams and a willingness to learn.
