Structure & Composite Engineer (B3)

About the role

The Structure & Composite Engineer (B3) is responsible for supervising and performing maintenance, inspections, repairs and component replacements on Air Arabia Maroc’s Airbus A320 fleet and third‑party aircraft. The role ensures all work is certified, recorded accurately and complies with company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review task cards with the Workshop Supervisor to understand work scope, priorities and documentation requirements.
• Prepare and execute scheduled aircraft maintenance, repairs and component replacements, ensuring correct parts, tools and GSE are used.
• Conduct aircraft tests and inspections, identify defects and record findings according to approved procedures.
• Rectify defects following maintenance data and engineering instructions, and sign off tasks within authorized limits.
• Coordinate communications with engineers and technicians to ensure seamless handover of work.
• Manage safety by applying mandatory precautions, using proper protective equipment and GSE.
• Provide internal customer service, supervise technicians, and represent Air Arabia professionally to flight crews and customers.
• Maintain cost awareness by minimizing waste of consumables and avoiding repeat work.

Required profile

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License and company approvals for the Airbus A320.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Category License and demonstrate in‑depth maintenance knowledge.
• Good command of English for technical communication.
• External candidates: minimum 2 years certifying A320 maintenance and 5 years in a base environment.
• Internal candidates: at least 3 years as a qualified Aircraft Technician, licensed on A320 Structure & Composite, with a strong performance record.
