Subsystem Technical Lead

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Subsystem Technical Lead to drive the development, validation, and maintenance of key mechatronic subsystems. Reporting to the SSTM/Chief Engineer and supported by the Function Development team, you will ensure that all deliverables meet quality, performance, timing, and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development, validation and ongoing maintenance of assigned mechatronic subsystems.
• Coordinate with purchasing, quality, cost, styling and performance departments as the primary technical interface.
• Guarantee compliance with functional specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and resource allocation to meet agreed milestones.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cross‑functional engineering teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechatronics system development within the automotive or related industry.
• Strong understanding of system validation processes and quality management.
• Ability to work under operational management and collaborate with multiple internal functions.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
