Talent Acquisition Lead – MEA

About the role

Harmattan AI is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. You will own end‑to‑end recruiting, build pipelines, and partner with the Global Head of Talent in Paris to execute the local hiring strategy for a fast‑growing defense‑tech company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for R&D, operational, and support functions across MEA.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies tailored to the regional talent market.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and move searches efficiently.
• Manage the candidate lifecycle in Ashby ATS, from sourcing to pre‑boarding.
• Drive high‑volume hiring for production and operator roles while running senior and technical searches.
• Promote Harmattan AI as an employer of choice, building brand awareness in the emerging defense‑tech market.
• Maintain pipeline data, generate headcount reports, and surface risks to leadership in Paris.
• Provide HR support on onboarding coordination and local compliance queries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in fast‑scaling tech, deep‑tech, or industrial companies.
• Proven ability to run high‑volume and senior searches simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of the Moroccan/MEA labor market with existing networks in engineering, manufacturing, and technical talent pools.
• Fluent in Arabic and French; professional English required for reporting.
• Data‑driven, autonomous, and comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.

Required skills

• Ashby applicant tracking system (ATS) experience.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms.
