Team Manager – Serial Life & Design Release Engineering

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Team Manager to lead the Serial Life team responsible for HVAC and engine systems components. The role combines people leadership with deep technical oversight of design release, quality issue resolution, and supplier management in a high‑volume production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Serial Life team, setting objectives aligned with quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Supervise Design Release Engineers, ensuring effective execution of serial‑life activities, technical consistency and robust product definition.
• Own critical quality topics for engine mechanical components, drive root‑cause analyses (8D, QRQC, KT, Shainin) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage technical supplier relationships, challenge supplier files, and ensure commitment to quality, delivery and product robustness.
• Apply APQP requirements throughout serial life, monitor product and process risks, and guarantee long‑term technical robustness.
• Track and control total warranty spending for HVAC and engine systems, identifying cost‑of‑non‑quality opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in an automotive or industrial setting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex quality investigations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing internal teams and external suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to develop technical talent and integrate teams into global expert networks.
