Technical Manager – Veterinary & Diagnostic Services

About the role

The Technical Manager will provide technical support for Zoetis veterinary and diagnostic services across the Maghreb region (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya). Working closely with Medical Leads and the Regional Commercial Manager, the role drives demand generation, ensures proper product use, and supports market development for the animal‑health portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for Zoetis veterinary affairs covering ruminants, poultry, and companion animals.
• Organise and conduct product trainings for distributors and key accounts.
• Support key accounts, generate demand, and achieve sales targets through technical expertise.
• Provide market and customer insights for portfolio management and new product introductions.
• Coordinate species‑specific strategies with internal stakeholders.
• Implement training clinics and train‑the‑trainer programmes, including remote areas.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the Zoetis portfolio and share expertise with other technical managers.
• Build relationships with local and regional Key Opinion Leaders.
• Support development of diagnostic infrastructure and translate results into disease‑control recommendations.
• Assist vaccination and disease‑control programmes, liaising with veterinarians, associations, and NGOs.
• Investigate and report adverse events in line with pharmacovigilance SOPs.

Required profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or BVSc, or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Registered/licensed to practice in the relevant country/market.
• Continued professional development after qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in veterinary/animal‑health technical roles.
