Technical Support Specialist – French Speaking (Remote, EMEA)

About the role

Hostaway, a leading AI‑powered vacation‑rental management platform, is seeking a tech‑savvy Technical Support Level 1 Specialist to serve its European customer base. You will work remotely across the EMEA region, providing bilingual (French/English) assistance to short‑term rental operators using our B2B SaaS solution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer support via phone, chat, and email, ensuring timely and clear communication.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to software functionality, configuration, and third‑party integrations.
• Collaborate with Product Development, QA, and other internal teams to escalate and resolve complex problems.
• Document inquiries, resolutions, and workflow steps in the support ticketing system.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.
• Assist with product demonstrations and training sessions when required.
• Stay informed about new features, enhancements, and industry trends to provide proactive support.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical or customer support within a SaaS or technology environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication of technical concepts.
• C2‑level proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to work the main shift of 9 AM‑6 PM CET and occasional shift variations.
• Customer‑first mindset with a commitment to high‑quality service.
