Technician Kitchen & Laundry

About the role

The Kitchen & Laundry Technician ensures that all guest‑related repair requests are addressed promptly while maintaining the functionality and safety of kitchen, laundry, and mechanical room equipment. This full‑time, onsite position supports the hospitality operation in Fnideq, Morocco.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of tools and equipment.
• Visually inspect tools, machines, and building systems; identify and operate shut‑off valves.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift handover.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment.
• Program televisions, manage housekeeping and engineering inventory, and perform landscaping and sprinkler repairs.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures and follow all safety and security policies.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to acquire additional technical knowledge as needed.
• Physical capability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier tasks with assistance.
• Strong communication skills for shift handovers and guest interaction.
