Tendering Engineer

About the role

The Tendering Engineer supports business growth by delivering accurate, competitive, and compliant proposals for grid and substation automation projects. You will manage the full bid lifecycle, from analysing client requests to submitting final offers, ensuring technical and commercial alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse RFQs and define technical solutions using DS Agile, G500, GPG, AAA, Cyber Security, MiCOM and Multilin product portfolios.
• Prepare compliant offers, manage risk registers, and conduct site assessments for brownfield and new substations.
• Maintain tendering tools with typical circuits, cost models and third‑party quotes, and ensure timely delivery of bids.
• Support sales teams in technical and commercial negotiations, and oversee order booking against contracts.
• Lead internal tender reviews, transfer meetings, and cost‑price analysis to optimise margins and win rates.

Required profile

• B.S. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in tendering, commercial or engineering functions within grid automation.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10‑15% of the time.
