Test Engineer – Electronics Testing

About the role

As a Test Engineer at STMicroelectronics, you will develop and optimise testing processes for electronic, electrical and electromechanical products. You will work closely with production, engineering and R&D teams to ensure test reliability, safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement test strategies, procedures and validation methods.
• Support production and engineering teams by troubleshooting test‑related issues.
• Analyse test data to detect failures, trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure test equipment, tools and methods meet quality and safety standards.
• Participate in product industrialisation and transfer test processes to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (R&D, quality, manufacturing, maintenance).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on test performance, cycle time and reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and process standards.
• Support root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for test failures.

Required profile

• Junior Electronics Engineer (ENSAM or equivalent) with ~2 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, measurement systems and industrial processes.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic industrial environment.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
