Test Lead – QA Automation for Card Payment Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Testing & Automation Team Lead with deep expertise in card payment systems to drive quality assurance for mission‑critical payment platforms. In this role you will shape testing strategy, lead execution, and champion automation across solutions that support authorization, clearing, and settlement processes for banks, fintechs, and financial institutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies, covering both manual and automated test campaigns.
• Plan and manage end‑to‑end QA activities throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Ensure complete test coverage for business and technical requirements, preparing test plans, cases, and scenarios.
• Validate card payment flows, support certification testing with Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and other schemes, and investigate complex transaction scenarios.
• Drive test automation initiatives, increase regression automation coverage, and monitor performance metrics and KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading QA efforts for card payment or similar financial transaction systems.
• Strong understanding of payment scheme requirements and certification processes.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop a team of QA engineers.
• Excellent collaboration skills with product owners, developers, business analysts, and clients.
• Track record of improving testing efficiency through automation and process enhancements.
