Thermal Management Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Thermal Management Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. You will contribute to the development, integration, simulation, and validation of advanced thermal and energy management systems for automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define, manage, and maintain system requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform functional analysis and help define system architecture.
• Lead verification and validation (V&V) activities at the system level.
• Manage system interfaces and ensure technical consistency across subsystems.
• Develop and analyze thermal and energy management systems, including 0D/1D modeling and system‑level simulations.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of control strategies and control laws.
• Support calibration, validation, and troubleshooting using MATLAB/Simulink and INCA.
• Analyze test and simulation data to identify performance gaps and propose solutions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional engineering activities and facilitate technical working groups.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations for technical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field with a focus on thermal engineering and modeling.
• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain systems, and control strategies.
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset with good analytical abilities.
• Experience with vehicle testing or driving evaluation is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics (OBD, trouble codes) and ECU systems.
• Experience in diagnostics, validation, or calibration is advantageous.
