Tooling Specialist

About the role

The Tooling Specialist will ensure the reliability and performance of plastic injection molds used in our production lines. Reporting to the Tooling Supervisor, you will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor the preventive maintenance schedule for all plastic injection molds.
• Perform corrective maintenance and repairs to restore mold functionality.
• Monitor the condition, compliance and availability of tooling, machines and spare parts.
• Communicate with Production to prioritise mold status and reduce production interruptions.
• Identify equipment malfunctions and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare daily maintenance reports and update tracking documentation.
• Provide technical support to Engineering, Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.
• Inspect produced parts, develop re‑work solutions and participate in tooling analysis meetings.
• Manufacture and machine precision mechanical components as required.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality regulations.

Required profile

• Technician Diploma (Bac+2) preferably in Tooling, Mold Making or Mechanical Manufacturing.
• Experience in mechanical manufacturing or injection molding; automotive experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in French and English.
