Transport Coordinator

About the role

The Transport Coordinator ensures smooth, compliant, and cost‑effective movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses or directly to customers. By optimizing transport planning and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, the role directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all transportation activities from suppliers to warehouses or customers.
• Optimize transport planning to ensure efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage accurate pre‑shipment and post‑shipment documentation and administration.
• Track and trace shipments, ensuring timely proof of delivery.
• Evaluate, record, and respond to special or additional service requests.
• Collaborate with transportation providers and freight payment teams to manage accessorial costs and billing flows.
• Handle transport‑related damage and loss claims in line with company procedures.
• Monitor on‑time delivery performance and follow up on discrepancies with suppliers and Customer Service teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation or logistics operations.
• Proven experience coordinating transport activities in a professional environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with SAP (strong advantage).
