Vehicle Performance Manager (O2X)

About the role

The Vehicle Performance Manager (O2X) will drive the definition, validation and convergence of vehicle performance targets across design, safety and marketing requirements. Working closely with Marketing, Brands, and engineering teams, you will ensure that performance specifications are realistic, measurable and aligned with the overall program goals.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Marketing and Brand needs into functional performance targets.
• Negotiate performance targets with customers, synthesis and design departments.
• Lead convergence between design feasibility and performance objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor achievement of targets and availability of technical specifications.
• Define and coordinate digital and physical validation plans, including test budgets and resource allocation.
• Oversee hardware and software validation execution, schedule planning and results reporting.
• Manage cross‑functional performance action plans and coordinate design department actions.
• Organise subjective assessments and support benchmarking and marketing assessment tests.
• Prepare confidentiality documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory constraints.

Required profile

• Strong background in automotive engineering or vehicle performance validation.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor test results and drive corrective actions.
• Experience negotiating performance targets with internal and external stakeholders.
