Versatile Maintenance Technician

About the role

APM Terminals is seeking a versatile maintenance technician to support the reliable operation of terminal equipment at its Tangier Med 2 port complex. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring equipment availability, and contributing to a safe workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance repairs, breakdown interventions, inspections and monitoring of terminal equipment.
• Ensure remedial works are performed cost‑effectively while maximising reliability and availability.
• Report emergency work to the Shift Engineer and provide accurate routine and critical inspection reports.
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of workshop facilities and all equipment.
• Assume additional responsibilities in the absence of the Shift Engineer, including interim coverage.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations, participate in safety walks and HSSE initiatives.
• Execute any duties assigned by the Shift Engineer and continuously learn related activities.

Required profile

• Bac+2 (or equivalent) in Maintenance or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience, preferably in a port or industrial environment.
• Good communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in performing equipment maintenance, repairs and inspections.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
