Virtual Statistical Validation Engineer

About the role

Stellantis is expanding its Automated Driving capabilities and is looking for a Virtual Statistical Validation Engineer to support L2‑L3 test activities. The role focuses on creating and executing statistical validation scenarios, ensuring that autonomous driving features meet their statistical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify validation requirements that need varied input parameters and design logical test scenarios.
• Develop, run, and debug statistical validation test cases using Python and simulation toolchains.
• Collaborate with a global team to define new validation pipelines and provide structured feedback.
• Support the resolution of issues related to new statistical test cases.
• Document test results and communicate findings to the team lead.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an ABET‑accredited university.
• At least 2 years of experience in software DevOps or CI/CD.
• 3+ years of proactive coding experience in C++ and Python.
• Experience with ADAS/Autonomous Driving simulators or commercial simulation tools.
• Knowledge of software testing toolsets and languages.
