Virtualization and Network Engineer

About the role

You will join the connectivity experts in the IaaS and Connectivity Services team of the Telco Cloud Design department. Your main mission is to attach virtual machine services to the appropriate VRFs and to integrate new VNF offerings such as Project Evolve and SD‑WAN on the Telco Cloud SDN POP.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper attachment of VM services to their associated VRFs.
• Integrate new VNF services (e.g., Project Evolve, SD‑WAN) on Telco Cloud infrastructure.
• Provide Level‑4 support for existing network services.
• Collaborate closely with Orange Business and Orange Wholesale to gather requirements and constraints.
• Troubleshoot and resolve routing and connectivity issues across the backbone network.

Required profile

• Solid experience with IP/MPLS networks on Cisco and Juniper routers/switches.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, IS‑IS and VLAN configuration.
• Hands‑on ability to configure and troubleshoot backbone IP equipment.
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat OpenStack environments.
• Previous work in a telecom operator setting, dealing with IP, voice and SD‑WAN on cloud infrastructure.
• Team player comfortable in an agile (SAFE) environment.
