Warranty Manager

About the role

The Warranty Manager will lead and optimise all warranty operations for a global truck manufacturer. You will ensure accurate claim processing, compliance with OEM policies, cost control and high customer satisfaction across the dealer and workshop network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end warranty claim lifecycle, from submission to validation, approval and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with Volvo warranty policies and monitor claim quality, turnaround time and approval rates.
• Handle complex or escalated warranty cases and drive corrective actions with under‑performing sites.
• Control warranty costs, analyse trends, identify margin leakage and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Train dealers and workshops on warranty processes, documentation standards and first‑time‑right claims.
• Define, track and report on KPIs such as claim acceptance rate, cycle time and cost per claim.
• Collaborate with technical teams on recurring failures and feed field data back for product improvement.
• Support campaigns, recalls and service actions while ensuring audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in warranty, after‑sales, service operations or the automotive/truck industry.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong analytical, financial and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Solid knowledge of workshop operations and technical diagnostics.
