As a Backend Engineer – Node.js & NestJS, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and scaling a multi‑tenant SaaS platform that powers Enakl’s core services. Your responsibilities include owning the backend architecture, refactoring legacy code, implementing tenant isolation and access control, and ensuring transactional integrity across the system. You will work closely with senior engineers to review high‑impact changes, enforce a rigorous testing discipline, and maintain reliability in production environments. The role is fully remote (RM) with a CDI contract and a competitive starting monthly salary of 15,000 MAD. Key Responsibilities

• Own backend architecture and design patterns for a multi‑tenant SaaS platform.
• Refactor and improve existing Node.js/TypeScript codebases, ensuring clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
• Implement tenant isolation, access control, and transactional logic to support multi‑tenant operations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on high‑impact code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Ensure reliability and performance in production, including monitoring, logging, and incident response.

Required Qualifications

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL, with experience in relational data modeling.
• Experience designing and implementing multi‑tenant systems and access control mechanisms.
• Solid testing discipline, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Familiarity with SaaS platform concepts and AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with background job processing and event‑driven architectures.
• Ability to optimize database performance and query efficiency.
