About the role
The Beverage Supervisor ensures the highest standards of service, safety, and presentation within the resort’s food and beverage outlets. Reporting to management, you will lead a team of staff, maintain inventory controls, and guarantee guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect staff grooming, attire, and correct any deficiencies.
- Communicate with guests, employees, and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well‑being.
- Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and conduct scheduled inventories of supplies, food, and liquor.
- Check stock levels, requisition supplies, and manage cash handling procedures.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and provide courteous assistance.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience in food & beverage.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and navigating confined spaces.
- Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
