About the role
Stellantis is seeking a Calibration Engineer to join its powertrain development team. The engineer will be responsible for testing and calibrating powertrain functions to meet performance targets and ensure robust delivery to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Perform calibration and testing of powertrain functions using high‑performance tools, engine test benches and chassis dynamometers.
- Utilise prototype vehicles for on‑road validation and fine‑tuning of calibrations.
- Manage calibration deliverables to meet project schedules and engineering standards.
- Coordinate the efficient use of shared test resources across engineering teams.
- Provide weekly activity summaries to the project team and contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering reference framework.
- Adapt calibration plans to changes in product milestones, software updates or team composition.
Required profile
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in powertrain calibration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of powertrain systems and technical rigor.
- Excellent listening, synthesis and communication abilities.
Required skills
- Powertrain calibration techniques.
- Operation of engine test benches.
- Use of chassis dynamometers.
- Prototype vehicle testing.
