Customer Service Associate II

About the role

As a Customer Service Associate II you will act as the primary liaison for customers within an assigned territory, ensuring timely delivery of materials and supporting production planning activities in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze and issue detailed material schedules, drawing up master schedules to meet shipping dates based on forecasts and orders.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Quality, Engineering and other teams to expedite production and meet customer expectations.
• Review and optimise master data and parameter settings in SAP across the supply chain.
• Schedule supply of materials/components to satisfy production needs while maintaining minimum safety stock.
• Manage day‑to‑day order processing, deliveries and follow‑up on material shortages.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels, minimise obsolete stock and drive supply‑chain performance improvements.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards and respond to multiple assignments efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or materials management within a plant or manufacturing setting.
• Proven record of supply‑chain improvements and performance results.
• Experience in the automotive sector within a global organisation is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP and other ERP/supply‑chain planning systems.
