About the role
The Customer Service Coordinator acts as the single point of contact for business customers during the delivery of new security system installations and upgrades. The role focuses on ensuring smooth implementation, timely communication, and high customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Triaging new jobs in the AS400 system and assigning them to the appropriate region or branch.
- Creating detailed job packages for field technicians, including all sold‑job information.
- Contacting customers for introductions, scheduling, and ongoing updates.
- Coordinating parts and equipment with warehouses and approving purchase orders.
- Booking installations on the Gantt chart/Tech Booking Schedule and managing the expected close date.
- Updating job statuses across AS400, Salesforce (SFDC) and other internal systems.
- Communicating regularly with sales teams, technicians, and other departments to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
Required profile
- Willingness to learn and use system tools such as AS400 and Salesforce (experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously and coordinate projects.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfort working in a high‑pressure, high‑volume environment with quick turn‑arounds.
