Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our finance function. In this position you will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain robust internal controls, and provide strategic insight to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end closing, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, highlighting performance trends and variances.
• Implement and maintain group financial controls to protect assets and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop financial forecasts and projections to aid strategic planning.
• Manage the budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
• Coordinate year‑end closing, including the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Serve as primary liaison for external auditors during statutory audits.
• Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with applicable laws.
• Handle tax audits, liaising with tax authorities and providing required documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an audit firm or a comparable financial management role.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
