Function Safety Designer

About the role

ALTEN Morocco is looking for a Function Safety Designer to lead the definition and maintenance of functional safety requirements and electrical/electronic architecture for automotive, railway and other high‑tech projects. The role combines system design, safety analysis and close collaboration with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and update functional safety requirements using ENOVIA and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Create functional architecture models in CATIA and manage product diversity.
• Address queries from deliverable consumers, guaranteeing system compatibility and compliance.
• Lead technical review meetings, conduct root‑cause analysis of PLM‑reported issues, and propose functional solutions.
• Write technical notes, generate Technical Function Design (TFD) documentation, and prepare review reports.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in electronic or embedded systems engineering.
• Proven experience in functional safety and system design.
• Strong leadership and ability to work with project stakeholders.

Required skills

• ENOVIA for functional requirements design.
• CATIA for functional architecture modeling.
• PLM tools for root‑cause analysis.
• Technical documentation and TFD generation.
• Product diversity management and requirements consistency.
