IT Manager – Consumer & Commercial (Maghreb)

About the role

Philip Morris International is seeking a seasoned IT Manager to lead consumer and commercial technology initiatives across the Maghreb cluster. Based in Casablanca, the role serves as the primary bridge between business strategy and global IT standards, driving digital transformation and AI‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main IT point of contact for all Maghreb affiliates.
• Collaborate with local management to align IT strategy with business objectives.
• Own and optimise the IT budget, forecasts and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Lead digital transformation and AI agendas across the region.
• Manage IT procurement, vendor selection, negotiations and contract administration.
• Ensure reliable IT operations, systems and digital workplace services.
• Implement global IT best practices, standards and compliance requirements.
• Oversee delivery of commercial and consumer IT solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, risk management and performance reporting.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing local IT team.
• Foster collaboration with commercial, supply‑chain, logistics and finance functions.

Required profile

• University degree in IT, Business or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience across multiple IT functions, including complex project delivery.
• Proven people‑management and leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of business processes and commercial IT environments.
• Extensive experience in budget management and financial planning.
• Demonstrated capability in vendor and contract management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
