About the role
The company seeks a Legal Counsel / Corporate Lawyer to support daily operations, ensure compliance with Moroccan law, and protect the organization’s legal interests. The role involves managing contracts, customs matters, disputes, and corporate legal affairs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to management and departments, interpret Moroccan legislation, and monitor legislative changes.
- Draft, review, negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, customers, and partners, maintaining a contract database.
- Support customs and international trade issues, coordinate with authorities, and ensure compliance across logistics and procurement.
- Handle commercial disputes and litigation, prepare legal files, coordinate external counsel, and keep management informed.
- Assist with corporate registration, administrative procedures, and maintain confidential legal records.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Moroccan law and regulations.
- 3‑5 years of experience in a corporate legal department, preferably in an industrial or multinational environment.
- Experience with customs, commercial disputes, and coordination with external lawyers and government authorities.
- Fluent in English, French, and Arabic (written and spoken).
