At ToumAI, a leading AI‑vocal technology company, we are seeking a Mobile SDK Engineer to build and evolve our Voice AI SDKs that power mobile applications worldwide. Your primary responsibilities will include designing robust SDK architectures, implementing voice capture, streaming, event handling, and lifecycle management across multiple platforms (Flutter, Android, iOS, React Native). You will work closely with our Voice AI, backend, and platform teams to integrate agentic workflows, secure communication, and on‑device or hybrid execution modes.
Key duties:
- Design and implement mobile SDKs supporting voice capture, streaming, events, actions, and lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain SDKs across Flutter, Android (Kotlin/Java), iOS (Swift), and React Native.
- Ensure consistent APIs, behaviors, and feature parity across all supported platforms.
- Optimize SDK performance for low latency, low memory footprint, and battery efficiency.
- Implement secure communication between mobile SDKs and backend voice services.
- Support on‑device, hybrid, and cloud‑based execution modes.
- Build SDK abstractions that simplify integration for third‑party developers.
- Collaborate with Voice AI, backend, and platform teams to integrate pipelines and agentic workflows.
- Participate in debugging, profiling, and optimization on real devices.
- Contribute to SDK documentation, samples, and integration guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in mobile systems and SDK development.
- Solid experience in mobile development with at least one of: Flutter, Kotlin/Java (Android), Swift (iOS), React Native.
- Experience building SDKs or shared libraries (not only applications).
- Strong understanding of mobile constraints: lifecycle, threading, audio, performance, and security.
- Proficiency in one or more native languages (Kotlin/Java, Swift) is highly valued.
- Experience with cross‑platform bridges and native bindings is a plus.
- Familiarity with real‑time audio processing or streaming is a strong plus.
- Understanding of networking, security, and API design on mobile platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with backend, ML, and product teams.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English required; French or Arabic is a plus.
