Role Overview
The Product Owner – Core Insurance Platform (BMP) will serve as the primary advocate for the BMP product line within a leading insurance organization. This hybrid leadership position requires a seasoned professional with 8‑12 years of experience in business analysis, product ownership, and consulting, and 6‑8 years of direct BA/PO/Lead experience. The role is based in Casablanca and Rabat, Morocco, and operates under a permanent (CDI) contract with a hybrid (HB) working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog for the BMP core insurance platform, ensuring alignment with business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (development, QA, operations, and business units) to deliver incremental value through agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, demos).
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Drive large‑scale transformation initiatives within the insurance domain, leveraging expertise in core platforms such as BMP, ABS, GRP2, and Guidewire.
- Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage work items, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Apply SAFe principles and frameworks to scale agile practices across multiple teams and programs.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer focus.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to insurance and digital transformation.
Required Competencies
- Strong business analysis and product ownership skills.

- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SAFe frameworks.
