About the Role

Novancy Consulting, a leading digital transformation and information technology firm based in Casablanca, Morocco, is partnering with a major global insurance provider to fill a Product Owner – Core Insurance Platform (BMP) position. This hybrid leadership role will be based in Casablanca and Rabat, with a flexible schedule that blends onsite and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog for the Core Insurance Platform (BMP), ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership to translate requirements into actionable user stories.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of BMP features across multiple regions, coordinating global rollouts and large‑scale transformation programs.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprints, stand‑ups, retrospectives, demos) to maintain velocity and quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including developers, QA, data analysts, and integration specialists—to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and success metrics to stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior product owners, business analysts, and consultants.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8–12 years of total experience in product ownership or consulting roles, with 6–8 years specifically as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
• Deep knowledge of core insurance platforms such as BMP, ABS, GRP2, and Guidewire.
• Proven track record in global rollouts and large‑scale transformation initiatives.
• Expertise in backlog management, agile ceremonies, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Hands‑on experience with Jira, Confluence, and SAFe frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional team collaboration skills.

Working Conditions

The position is a full‑time, hybrid role (HB) that requires a mix of onsite presence in Casablanca and remote collaboration. The hybrid model supports flexibility while maintaining close coordination with the client’s teams.
