Novancy, a leading consulting and technology partner in Morocco, is seeking an experienced Product Owner to spearhead the Core Insurance Platform (BMP) initiative. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring that the platform not only meets regulatory mandates but also delivers exceptional value to Allianz’s insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product roadmap for the Core Insurance Platform, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
• Backlog Management: Prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are clear, actionable, and deliver incremental value.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business analysts, underwriters, compliance officers, and IT teams to gather requirements, validate solutions, and secure buy‑in.
• Agile Leadership: Champion SAFe practices across squads, facilitate sprint ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement in delivery cadence.
• Regulatory & Security Oversight: Ensure that all product features comply with local and international insurance regulations, and embed security awareness into the development lifecycle.
• Mentoring & Coaching: Guide junior product owners and business analysts, fostering a culture of ownership and high performance.
• Customer‑Centric Delivery: Translate customer insights into product enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Required Experience

8‑12 years in product ownership or consulting roles within the insurance or financial services sector, with a proven track record of delivering complex technology solutions. Deep familiarity with SAFe, Jira, Confluence, and backlog management is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, and be comfortable navigating regulatory landscapes.

Work Environment

The role is hybrid (HB), requiring presence in Casablanca and Rabat for key stakeholder meetings, while allowing remote work for day‑to‑day activities. This structure supports flexibility and collaboration across distributed teams.
