We partner with a global insurance leader to recruit a Product Owner & Lead Consultant for their BMP (Business Management Platform) rollout. The role is a hybrid leadership position blending product ownership, team mentorship, and strategic consulting. You will be the driving force behind a key transformation squad, ensuring alignment between business vision and agile delivery while nurturing team growth.
Mission
Lead and own the squad backlog for the BMP rollout, acting as the crucial link between business stakeholders and the delivery team. Ensure that every delivered feature creates value, adheres to compliance standards, and advances Allianz’s strategic transformation goals—all while mentoring Business Analysts and contributing to organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Organizational Impact: Ensure delivery aligns with business strategy, maintain regulatory compliance, and support cross‑functional collaboration.
- Product Ownership: Own backlog, prioritize features, and maintain product vision.
- Agile & SAFe Expertise: Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives in a SAFe environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication between business, technical, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Tool Proficiency: Use Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure regulatory compliance and promote security awareness across the squad.
- Mentorship: Coach and develop Business Analysts and junior team members.
Experience & Qualifications
• 8‑12 years of experience in product ownership or lead consulting roles within the insurance or technology sectors.
• Deep knowledge of Core Insurance Platforms such as BMP, ABS, or GRP2.
• Proven experience with Agile frameworks, particularly SAFe and Scrum.
• Strong business analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and backlog management skills.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other agile tooling.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and security awareness in the insurance domain.
• Leadership experience in cross‑functional teams and mentoring capabilities.
