Restaurant Manager (M/F) – Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort

About the role

The Restaurant Manager oversees all restaurant, bar, lounge and room‑service operations at Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort, ensuring high standards of service, sanitation and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervises daily restaurant, bar, lounge and room‑service operations, maintaining service and sanitation standards.
• Manages staffing levels, schedules and employee performance to meet guest service and financial objectives.
• Leads the food‑and‑beverage team through coaching, mentoring and clear communication, fostering trust and cooperation.
• Ensures compliance with all food‑handling, sanitation and liquor laws, and with Marriott’s F&B policies.
• Delivers exceptional guest experiences by overseeing the entire service flow, handling complaints and gathering feedback.
• Conducts training, performance reviews and employee engagement activities to improve retention and service quality.
• Oversees purchasing, invoice payment and other financial aspects of the department.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience.
• Or a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
