Senior Backend Engineer (PHP/Symfony)

Main Missions

• Design, develop, and scale robust backend systems using PHP and Symfony.
• Take full ownership of features from initial design through to deployment.
• Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead, CTO, Product, and Design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability to handle complex logistics data.
• Leverage AI-driven coding tools (e.g., Copilot) to accelerate development and build smarter solutions.

Profile Required

• Over 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of software architecture.
• Product-oriented mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
• Fluent in English (essential for our international environment).
• Based in Africa (candidates from Morocco or Egypt are highly preferred).

Technical Skills

• Expertise in PHP and Symfony framework.
• Strong mastery of MySQL and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with caching, message queues, and asynchronous processing.
• Knowledge of observability and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools.
