We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to spearhead the technical evolution of our platform into a robust multi‑tenant architecture. This transition will enable scalable growth, improved data isolation, and enhanced security across all booking workflows.

Key responsibilities include:

• Domain Ownership: Take responsibility for critical backend services, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and data integrity standards.
• Large‑Scale Refactoring: Lead extensive codebase refactoring initiatives to improve maintainability and support new features without compromising stability.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize database queries, index strategies, and application logic to reduce latency and resource consumption.
• Reliability & Testing: Implement comprehensive unit and integration tests, enforce a strong testing culture, and conduct code reviews.
• Architecture & Design: Collaborate with the CTO to define architectural decisions, enforce best practices, and document system designs.
• Mentorship: Guide junior engineers, share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The role is strictly focused on system ownership and reliability; feature delivery is not part of the day‑to‑day responsibilities. Candidates should bring 6+ years of backend experience, deep expertise in Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and a proven track record in performance optimization and multi‑tenant system design.
