Position Overview
Enakl, a cutting‑edge mobility collective startup based in Casablanca, is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to spearhead the development and maintenance of its core backend systems. The role is centered around building a robust, scalable, and secure SaaS platform that supports thousands of users across Morocco and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Lead the design of backend architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- System Ownership: Own end‑to‑end lifecycle of core backend services, from requirements to deployment.
- Multi‑Tenant Management: Implement tenant isolation, access control (ACL, RBAC, ABAC), and data segregation.
- Database Excellence: Optimize PostgreSQL queries, tune database performance, and enforce best SQL practices.
- Code Quality: Refactor live production code, enforce unit and integration testing, and maintain high code coverage.
- Observability: Implement logging, monitoring, and diagnostic tools to ensure system reliability.
- Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage services on AWS infrastructure, including background job processing and event‑driven workflows.
