About the Role

Enakl is a fast‑growing Moroccan startup revolutionizing collective mobility across emerging megacities. We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to architect and maintain the core systems powering our SaaS platform. This position is based in Casablanca but fully remote, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve a high‑throughput, multi‑tenant Node.js service stack.
• Implement robust tenant isolation and access control (ACL, RBAC, ABAC).
• Refactor and optimize live production code for performance and reliability.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with product, data, and DevOps teams to deliver new features.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience building and scaling multi‑tenant SaaS architectures.
• Strong grasp of access control mechanisms (ACL, RBAC, ABAC).
• Hands‑on experience with refactoring live production systems.
• Solid testing practices (unit, integration).
• Familiarity with event‑driven patterns, background job processing, and AWS infrastructure.
