With over 30,000 monthly bookings, the company is moving from a monolithic architecture to a multi‑tenant SaaS platform. The Senior Backend Engineer will play a pivotal role in consolidating, hardening, and scaling the backend during this transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Own critical backend domains and enforce architectural decisions.
• Drive large‑scale refactorings while keeping production stable.
• Design and implement tenant data isolation strategies and strengthen access control models (ACL, RBAC, ABAC).
• Prepare backend systems for SaaS‑scale usage patterns and prevent cross‑tenant data leakage.
• Maintain complex PostgreSQL relational models, design safe schema evolution, and optimize queries for performance.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, improve observability, logging, and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver high‑quality features.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend development.
