Enakl, a leading mobility collective startup, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer – SaaS Platform to architect and maintain high‑availability, multi‑tenant backend services. The role is based in Casablanca but offers full remote flexibility. The successful candidate will work closely with the CTO, founders, and a global team to deliver scalable solutions that power daily transportation experiences for thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend architecture for a SaaS platform.
• Develop and maintain services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Implement multi‑tenant isolation, tenant isolation, and fine‑grained access control (ACL, RBAC, ABAC).
• Refactor legacy codebases to improve maintainability and performance.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests; enforce test‑driven development.
• Optimize database queries and overall system performance.
• Design event‑driven workflows and background job processing.
• Collaborate with AWS infrastructure teams for deployment and scaling.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6‑9 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in English (fluent).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for clean code.
