Senior GIS Supervisor - Energy Sector

About the Position

Join a leading global player in the energy sector through Pentabell. We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic GIS Supervisor to lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support critical energy-related infrastructure and projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day GIS operations to ensure maximum data accuracy, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate spatial data into diverse energy project workflows.
• Develop, implement, and manage detailed project plans for all GIS-related tasks and long-term strategic goals.
• Provide expert technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members regarding GIS best practices and advanced methodologies.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant industry regulations, data security standards, and quality protocols in the use of GIS systems.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, GIS, or a closely related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in GIS, including at least 3 years in a proven supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex GIS projects within the energy or industrial sectors.
• Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously, and lead teams toward excellence.

Required Skills

• Expert proficiency in GIS software and tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar).
