Senior Project Manager – Digital Payments

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the PMO delivery effort for a new digital‑bank setup, overseeing major workstreams and ensuring alignment with the launch roadmap. This on‑site contract role requires senior oversight of governance, risk, dependencies and executive decisions throughout the 12‑month project.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain an integrated delivery roadmap covering business, digital, marketing, technology, finance, operations and customer‑service workstreams.
• Define and track milestones, deliverables, owners, dependencies, risks and mitigation actions through go‑live.
• Prepare governance forums, agendas, decision points, meeting materials and follow‑up reporting.
• Monitor workstream progress, identify blockers or scope gaps and coordinate resolution across teams.
• Escalate critical delivery issues and provide options and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Former consulting experience leading PMO teams, preferably within banking or digital‑transformation programs.
• Strong program governance, executive stakeholder management and risk management experience.
• Ability to lead complex, multi‑workstream initiatives in an on‑site client environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Morocco for the full assignment.

Required skills

• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• In‑depth knowledge of payment systems and digital platforms.
