As the Senior Technical Lead, you will be the linchpin between product vision and technical execution. Your responsibilities include:
- Architectural Leadership: Own the end‑to‑end architecture of the core platform, ensuring scalability, resilience, and maintainability. Lead the migration to a microservices ecosystem, design data models, and define infrastructure patterns.
- Code Quality & Governance: Establish and enforce rigorous code review standards, performance benchmarks, and security guidelines. Champion automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines to accelerate delivery cycles.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide and coach engineering teams through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Product Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications, estimate effort, and assess risk. Influence the product roadmap with a focus on long‑term technical health.
- Innovation & Debt Management: Identify technical debt hotspots, propose refactoring initiatives, and implement cutting‑edge solutions that enhance developer productivity and system reliability.
Key qualifications include:
- 3–5 years of senior or principal engineering experience, with a proven track record in system design and architecture.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience with containerization, orchestration, and serverless patterns.
- Strong command of code review practices, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD tooling.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in FinTech or related domains, with familiarity in microservices, event‑driven architectures, and data‑centric design.
