Position Overview

As a Technical Lead, you will spearhead a team of approximately four developers, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality features aligned with Yakeey’s product roadmap and architectural standards. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Leading and coordinating the development team, setting clear objectives, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Translating product requirements and architectural designs into actionable tasks, maintaining clarity and feasibility.
• Architecting and reviewing solutions to guarantee alignment with the company’s micro‑services architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Contributing to hands‑on development, particularly in Java/Spring Boot, while mentoring team members on code quality, testing, and professional growth.
• Collaborating with product managers, architects, and cross‑functional teams to refine requirements, anticipate dependencies, and plan releases.
• Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance development processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and documentation.

Key Qualifications

• 6‑9 years of software development experience, with a strong background in backend engineering (Java, Spring Boot).
• Experience leading a small development team or acting as a technical mentor.
• Solid understanding of micro‑services architecture, RESTful API design, and cloud platforms (AWS). Knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform is a plus.
• Proficiency in front‑end frameworks such as React or Next.js is desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and architects.
• Commitment to quality, including clean code, testing, and code review best practices.
• Experience in fintech, proptech, or other regulated domains is advantageous.
• Interest in AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, and MCP, and a willingness to experiment with emerging AI tools.
• Proficiency in French or Arabic is a plus.
