Academic Counsellor – International Student Recruitment

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Academic Counsellor to join our Morocco branch and help prospective students navigate study‑abroad opportunities. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will work onsite Monday‑Friday, providing personalized guidance and driving enrolments for international programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality customer service to prospective students and their families.
• Engage in sales and cross‑selling activities to convert leads into confirmed enrolments, meeting defined targets.
• Provide comprehensive counselling on study programmes, admission requirements, visa processes and scholarship options in the UK, US, Canada and Europe.
• Present information about partner institutions both in‑person and over the phone.
• Track application status, communicate offers and rejections, and keep records up‑to‑date in the Study Now CRM.
• Maintain after‑sales support to generate referrals and build long‑term relationships.
• Organise promotional events, exhibitions and campus visits to raise awareness of study‑abroad options.
• Collaborate with internal teams, educational institutions and visa offices to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of higher‑education systems and admission processes in the UK, US, Canada or Europe.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage a pipeline of prospective students.
• Organisational skills to handle multiple applications and events simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
