Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our finance team in Morocco. The role involves managing both general and analytical accounting functions while ensuring full compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and compliant general and analytical accounting records.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with precision.
• Prepare and review tax declarations, including VAT, CIT, and PIT.
• Oversee the sales‑collection cycle: validate, allocate, and follow up on client invoices.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
• Ensure traceability and rigorous archiving of all accounting documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1‑3 years of experience in an accounting firm or corporate environment.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• In‑depth knowledge of Moroccan accounting and tax regulations.
• High level of rigor, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure.
