Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will support daily general‑ledger processes for a luxury resort, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with internal policies and local regulations. This full‑time position works on‑site and collaborates closely with finance teams and operational departments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects, including SOP audits across all property areas.
• Perform ledger reconciliation, balance credit‑card accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, presentations, and period‑end close activities.
• Monitor taxes, ensure proper accruals, and safeguard assets through strong internal controls.
• Conduct contract verification and credit checks for group bookings when required.
• Provide guidance to other units on budgeting, accounting policies, and resource utilization.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (no experience required) OR a 2‑year degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate data, choose solutions, and solve problems.
• Ability to meet reporting deadlines and maintain accurate profit‑and‑loss documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
• Knowledge of ledger reconciliation, tax monitoring, and financial reporting processes.
