Android Mobile Developer – Kotlin & Jetpack Compose

About the role

Mindera Morocco is seeking an Android Mobile Developer to build high‑quality native e‑commerce experiences. You will work with the latest Kotlin‑based tech stack, collaborate closely with clients, and help shape the product from concept to release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Apply modern architectural patterns such as MVVM and Android Architecture Components.
• Write unit and UI tests, embracing test‑driven development.
• Optimize performance, observability and metrics for production‑ready code.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to sprint planning.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous learning within the team.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
• Self‑driven, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Enjoys a positive team atmosphere and values team fit as much as technical ability.

Required skills

• Kotlin (Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus)
• Jetpack Compose (Compose Multiplatform is a plus)
• Coroutines and/or RxJava
• MVVM or similar software architecture
• Android Architecture Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.)
• Unit testing and UI testing (Test‑driven development)
• Performance optimization, observability and metrics
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Service‑oriented architectures, design patterns, robust data structures
