Apprentice Business Analyst

About the role

Gratia is seeking an Apprentice Business Analyst to join its remote‑first operations team. This hands‑on role is designed for early‑career professionals who want to learn business analysis and operations by performing day‑to‑day tasks rather than creating high‑level strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Process documentation, claims handling, and data reporting following standard operating procedures.
• Identify and flag anomalies, missing information, or process breaks for senior team members.
• Communicate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve escalations and answer questions.
• Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets or internal systems to ensure accurate daily reporting.
• Manage conflicting priorities and deadlines, communicating trade‑offs when urgent requests arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Up to 2 years of experience in operations, administration, data entry, or a customer‑facing role (recent graduates welcome).
• High attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes accurately.
• Strong problem‑solving instincts with clear judgment on when to investigate or escalate issues.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish fluency is a plus.
• Flexible schedule allowing consistent daily overlap with US business hours.
