Apprentice Business Analyst (Remote)

About the role

Gratia is a remote‑first apprenticeship platform that connects emerging talent with global companies. As an Apprentice Business Analyst you will join the operations team to learn business analysis and data‑driven processes from the ground up, working on real‑world claims, reporting and stakeholder interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures to process documentation, claims and data reports.
• Identify and flag anomalies, missing information or process breaks for senior team members.
• Communicate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve escalations and answer queries.
• Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets or internal systems for accurate daily reporting.
• Manage conflicting priorities and deadlines, communicating trade‑offs when urgent requests arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Up to 2 years of experience in operations, administration, data entry or a customer‑facing role (recent graduates welcome).
• High attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes accurately.
• Strong problem‑solving instincts and good judgment on when to investigate or escalate issues.
• Excellent written and spoken English; empathy in customer communications.
• Flexible schedule with consistent daily overlap with US business hours; Spanish fluency is a plus.
